Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)

Following the Public Hearing for the project, the project team addressed comments and prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) Errata to document the proposed modifications to the EA. The FHWA reviewed the EA, the EA Errata, the comments submitted during the Public Hearing, and the responses to public hearing comments. On June 22, 2022, the FHWA determined that the Deerfield Road project will not result in a significant impact on the human environmental and issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).

• Traffic Noise Report
  This report assesses potential noise impacts with the project and provides recommendations of any mitigation such as noise walls. As a result of the federal traffic noise analysis process, there is one proposed noise wall at the southeast corner at the Saunders Road and Deerfield Road intersection adjacent to the Thorngate community.
